How much does each cost for a typical year?
Using the listed packs, here is what common volumes cost on each:
| Photos you need | Refined Listings | Listing Curator |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | $80 | $19.95 (5 single photos at $3.99) |
| 15 | $180 | $59 (25-pack, 10 left over) |
| 30 | $300 | $88 (25-pack plus 10-pack, 5 left over) |
| 60 | $600 (two 30-packs) | $119 |
Listing Curator leftovers don't expire, so they roll into your next listing. For ongoing team use, compare Refined Listings' $239 Enterprise plan against Listing Curator's business plans: brokerage team plans start at $299 a month for 120 photos with a shared credit pool, seats and one bill (property-manager plans from $99 per property). If you don't need shared credits, the individual $69 monthly plan for 50 costs less per photo. Ask Refined Listings how many photos Enterprise includes before you compare the two.
What should you ask Refined Listings before buying?
These are good questions for any staging service, and they're the gaps we couldn't fill from Refined Listings' pricing:
- Does a person or AI do the staging?
- How long does a typical order take?
- Can I see a preview before I pay?
- Does each download include a copy labeled for the MLS and the original photo?
- What resolution are the finished files?
- How do revisions work, and do they cost extra?
- Do unused photos or credits expire?
- What does the $239 Enterprise plan include?
Question 4 matters more than it used to. As of October 2026, California AB 723 requires a disclosure on or next to an altered image and a link to the original. Several MLSs have their own rules too. Check your state, MLS and broker, and see our state-by-state overview.
Will the files fit your MLS and Zillow?
Staged photos are only useful if they upload cleanly. Limits vary a lot. Canopy MLS in North Carolina allows JPGs up to 6 MB and recommends 2048 × 1536. The Direct to Zillow feed takes photos up to 5 MB. Other MLSs set different minimums, maximums and photo counts; our MLS photo requirements guide lists several.
Listing Curator's MLS copy is sized to 2,048 px on the long side, next to a full 4K PNG for print and web. We couldn't confirm Refined Listings' output sizes or formats, so ask what resolution and file type you'll get and whether you'll need to resize before uploading.
Choose Refined Listings if…
- Their answers to the questions above fit your workflow better, for example if they offer human editing and that's what you want.
- Their Enterprise plan includes what your team needs at $239 a month.
- You've used them before and like the results.
Choose Listing Curator if…
- You want a lower price per photo at every listed pack size.
- You want results usually in a minute or two, at 4K.
- You want to see a free watermarked preview before paying.
- You want a labeled MLS copy and the original in every download.
- You want to change one detail by typing it.
- You also want listing video, carousels or a single-property website.
One limit to know: Listing Curator has no human editors. It aims to leave permanent features alone, and you should still check every image before it goes live.
Switching from Refined Listings: what to know
- Run a side-by-side. Preview two or three photos you staged with Refined Listings, starting from the originals.
- Match the look. Pick the closest of Listing Curator's 11 styles and add a note for the details you liked.
- Use the right mode. Furnish for empty rooms, Refresh to keep good pieces, Clear and restage to start over in a furnished room.
- Start small. A single photo is $3.99 and a 10-pack is $29, both less than Refined Listings’ 5-pack. Credits never expire.
